Anna Maués is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, and producer who graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro majoring in Radio and Television.
For over six years, she worked for GNT, Mais Globosat, and VIVA, three major channels at Globosat, the pay-tv branch of Globo Studios, one of the largest TV conglomerates in the world.
Now, New York-based, she is best known for her work in feature films, TV series, and commercials, including the celebrated super short "Shadow", the multi-award-winning script "Heritage" and the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival semi-finalist "Life In Covid".
She also has extensive experience working as an assistant director and associate producer for narratives and commercials.
